Untitled Relativistic Game

This page collects demos for the "Untitled Relativistic Game", a game in early stage of development.

The aim of the game is to transport the player into a world dominated by different and unfamiliar rules. It's a world where moving objects contract and their time slows down. These rules are unusual and surprising, but they are not fictional at all. They are the rules of our own reality. We don't spot them only because they affect objects going at incredible speeds, close to the speed of light.

Demo 1.0

This is a very minimal demo. You'll be able to control the main character of the game, a drone-like robot that can move at relativistic speeds, very close to the speed of light.

At these speeds strange effects emerge: the robot contracts more and more as it speeds up. This is the so called Lorentz contraction.

You'll notice another strange phenomenon: the robot rotates on itself while moving along curved trajectories. This is an effect that particles experience when rotating at high speed inside circular particle accelerators. It is called Wigner Rotation.

Apart from moving around, there isn't much else you'll be able to do in this demo. You'll have to wait version 2.0 to get a better taste of what this game is going to be.
